The first edition of The Mighty Riff concert will be an all-Bangalore affair, and will have Bevar Sea and Inner Sanctum acting as curators. The lineup is complete with Culminant, and the closing band for the evening, Pillbox 666.

Inner Sanctum: Four years, one album and a whole lot of touring later, Inner Sanctum has decided to start doing their own shows. They bring to The Mighty Riff their super-energetic, tight and well-executed take on extreme metal. For fans of Gojira, Death, Arch Enemy, Coroner.

Bevar Sea: Bevar Sea plays no bullshit stoner-doom with an old-school heavy rawk foundation. A typical set features catchy tunes with thick heavy riffs, groovy rhythms, melodic solos, and raspy vocals. The Mighty Riff is co-curated by Bevar Sea along with Inner Sanctum. For fans of Black Sabbath, Trouble, Saint Vitus, Orange Goblin, Sleep, The Obsessed, Pentagram.

Culminant: Bangalore’s Culminant is all about 100%, grade A, unadulterated extreme metal with minimum frills and no fuss, about making honest, in-your-face aggressive Thrash/Death metal composed and presented with old school sensibilities. For fans of Death, Slayer, Carcass, Kreator, Megadeth.

Pillbox 666: A four man panzer division with the sole objective of launching all out metal assaults on the senses. The band was put together by Vikram Bhatt (Dying Embrace and Gruesome Malady) with Nolan Lewis (Kryptos) on guitars, Ganesh (Bevar Sea) on bass, and Deepak (Bevar Sea and Dying Embrace) on drums. If Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Bolt Thrower, Sodom and Autopsy float your boat, then we’ve got exactly the right kind of a band to close the evening. Contact:
